'He was half lying on a high, fantastically balustraded terrace about a boundless jungle of outlandish, incredible peaks, balanced planes, domes, minarets, horizontal disks poised on pinnacles, and numberless forms of still greater wildness - some of stone and some of metal - which glittered gorgeously in the mixed, almost blistering glare from a polychromatic sky.
The pavement from which he easily raised himself was a veined, polished stone beyond his power to identify, and the tiles were cut in bizarre-angled shapes which struck him as less asymmetrical than based on some unearthly symmetry whose laws he could not comprehend.'

You can use these textures in any way you deem suitable. Cut, paste, combine and recolor to your heart's content.
Many of the textures appear as variants, sometimes including the seamless tessellation origin texture from which I created the more detailed images. These can form the basis for a map theme on their own, but there is no intention that you should restrict use of these textures to only what appears in the wad.

Base: From scratch, except the small light fixture klight0 which is a yellow recoloring of the id base texture ceil1_1; the other light fixtures in this wad are hand-painted derivations of that.

Although obviously inspired by Alien 3, no images from the movie were used to create any of the textures in this wad. The landscape images are based on a still from the movie, but were actually hand-painted.

You can use these textures in any way you deem suitable, even in other engines such as Half-Life if you wish. You can cut, paste and combine them to create new variants; the textures are designed to work in this way.
The detail variants with microgramma serial numbers, circuitry and so on cover 128x128 squares that match the more basic structural version to make texture alignment easier.

In the absence of copyright material from the Aliens franchise, there is no danger of any map you build with these textures being 'Foxed'.

Knave
---------------------------------------------------
And so let us beginne; and, as the Fabrick takes its Shape in front of you, alwaies keep the Structure intirely in Mind as you inscribe it. First, you must measure out or cast the Area in as exact a Manner as can be, and then you must draw the Plot and make the Scale. I have imparted to you the Principles of Terrour and Magnificence, for these you must represent in the due placing of Parts and Ornaments as well as in the Proportion of the several Orders: you see how I take my Pen? And here, on another Sheet, calculate the positions and influences of the Celestiall Bodies and the Heavenly Orbs, so that you are not at a Loss on which Dayes to begin or leave off your Labours. The Designe of the Worke, together with every several Partition and Opening, is to be drawne by straight-edge and compass: as the Worke varies in rising, you must show how its Lines necessarily beare upon one another, like the Web which the Spider spins in a Closet;
